Tribal artists unleash creativity at Aadi Mohatsav
Aadi Mohotsav organized by Tribes
India from 19 to 31 December 2017 at Bhopal Haat, is “a celebration of the
spirit of Tribal culture, craft, cuisine and commerce”. Distinct states with cultural
diversity woven together at a single platform result in alluring scene.
“Our traditional Muga Silk sarees,
cotton sarees, shawl, is finding a new platform; people are appreciating our
art. We are overwhelmed with the support and I am looking forward for this
event again” Said Mr. Bulon Doleui from Assam. States concede their traditional
paintings, decorative flower, cushion cover, Toran, Bangles, natural food
products, wooden toys, bottle guard art, jute bags, jwellery etc. Aadi Vyanjan consisted of traditional
delectable delicacies from various states.
“The Handmade art of
underprivileged and backward sections should get a stage to showcase their
creativity. We intend to bring their talent into limelight” said Mr. Aniket
Upadhyay, event organiser.
Mr. Jaganath Shekhawat, regional
manager believes that “tribal artists are gaining exposure to markets where
their art is unavailable. It is a superlative stage to enhance their sales and
earn profit, so that the local customers cultivate demand for tribal artistry”.
Artists are encouraged by such events to flare up their creativity.
